Client: De Wijers — 2020

Charachter design of a shy but friendly host, called Robbie Roerdomp (bittern), who guides young children and their family/classmates through ‘De Wijers’ (aka ‘Land van 1001 vijvers’). This unique area in the province of Limburg covers over thousand lakes and is home to a large variety of birds, amphibians and fish among which the bittern, the tree frog and the carp. The project consists of nine illustrations (variations for the different access points), a sustainable sandwich wrapper (Boc’n’roll) and two guidebooks (children/adults).
